Owen’s tooth had been wiggling for days, and today, it finally popped out! He held it up, excited to put it under his pillow for the Tooth Fairy. But then—plop!—it slipped from his fingers and rolled under the bed. Owen dropped to his knees, reaching into the dark space. His fingers brushed against something fuzzy. Not my tooth! he thought, pulling out an old sock instead. He kept searching until—yes!—he found it. Clutching his tooth, he smiled. “The Tooth Fairy won’t miss me tonight!”
