Simple Past – Overview
Definition:
Used for completed actions in the past.

Subject + verb (past form)

Past Progressive – Overview
🔹 Definition:
Used for actions that were in progress at a specific moment in the past.
🔹 Structure:
Subject + was/were + verb-ing
🔹 Examples:
I was watching TV at 9 p.m.
They were studying when the lights went out.
