with water.

This soda drink is made of fruit juice and sugar syrup. We can't see the sugar.

We can separate sugar or salt and water by heating the
solution.

Too much sugar and salt is bad for our health.

Seawater is a solution made of two substances: water and
salt.

The sand and water make a mixture, but not a solution.

We can separate the sand and water by putting the mixture through a filter.

Sugar and salt are found in many food dishes and drinks we enjoy.
