To access the testing platform
- SIGN OUT of your device
- Click on apps in the lower left hand corner
- Select TestNav
- Your screen should look like this.

​How to access practice items

• You can navigate forward & backward within a single passage set.

• The left arrow remains gray until you move to the second question.

• You may change your answers only while you are still IN that passage.

  • Once you move onto the next passage, you cannot go back and change your answers.

• There are very obvious signs/screens when you end a passage set.

Use the line reader mask or enable the answer making tool.

​SOL Testing Rules & Expectations

1. ​You will be taking the Reading SOL in your homeroom unless you have an accommodation that requires something different.

2. No electronic devices are allowed in the testing room.

   1. Please leave your items in your bag and put your backpack in your locker or on top of the lockers in the pod you are testing in.

3. You may not have food, drinks, or books at your desk while you are testing.

   1. You are expected to bring a novel to read when you are done. They will be collected before testing and handed back to you when you are finished.

   2. Water breaks will be handled the same way as bathroom breaks- one at a time with a proctor escorting you.

​Silence- the hardest skill of the test

You are being recorded (audio only) the entire testing period.

You must remain silent until the recording stops.

Any talking while the test is out will be reported as cheating and referred to the office.
