Day 2 Writing and Typing

Objective: Today we will practice combining short sentences and using transition words to make our writing flow better.

Separate Sentences:
"I want to find treasure. I want to be famous."

Let’s combine them!

• Use transition words like because, also, so, and, or even though

• Keep the meaning clear

Example:

"I want to find treasure because I want to be famous."

OR

"Not only do I want to find treasure, but I also want to be famous."

Open Ended

Combine these sentences using a transition word:

"I would feel scared. I would still go on the journey."

"The trip will be long. It will be exciting."
