​仮定法過去　
事実とは異なる仮定の話をする場合、過去の事実に基づかない想像や願望を表す。

構造
If + S' + 動詞の過去形, S + 助動詞の過去形[would / could / might] + 動詞の原形
例）If I were a bird, I would fly in the sky.
（もし私が鳥だったら、空を飛ぶだろう。）
