Station 1: Role-Play – “Concrete vs Abstract Detectives”

As a group, the students will act out a short scene using the nouns clearly.

Station 2:
Mystery Box – “Story Clue Challenge”
Students pull 5 mystery items or picture cards from the box. Work collaboratively to frame a short story using all five items.

Underline or highlight the concrete and abstract nouns used in the story.

Station 3:
Treasure Hunt – “Riddle Noun Challenge”

Work in groups to solve riddles that hint at either concrete or abstract nouns. Each group receives a set of riddle cards and must read, guess the noun, identify whether it is concrete or abstract, and then frame a sentence using the noun.
