Giving human characteristics to non-human things.

A sound word that makes its sound when you read it.

Hyperbole

An expression that is an exaggeration.

Example: I'm never going to finish my homework.

Alliteration

The use of the same beginning consonant sound in a line or verse.

Example: Sally Sells Sea Shells by the Seashore.
