DANIEL DEFOE'S MUSEUM

​You are tourist guides, you have been working in the museum for two years, you know Defoe's LIFE & LITERARY WORKS very well .

A group of British young teenagers come to visit your museum as part of their school project about 18th Novels.
They haven't begun to study Defoe yet, so you have :
-to welcome them to your museum
-to tell them about Defoe's life and about his most famous novel Robinson Crusoe

You have to create 3 groups with 3 different tasks:
1st Group: it has to welcome the students to the museum's first room: I AM DANIEL DEFOE
you tell the students about the novel (plot, style, etc)

the 2nd Group has to welcome the young students in the room: I am Robinson Crusoe,
and you have to tell the students, in a very simple way:
1who is Robinson
2What happened to him
3 How he managed to survive on the island
3 What was his mood when he found himself alone on the island
4 How he organized his life on the island

The third group is in the Museum's room called MY NAME'S FRIDAY
and has to tell the students about FRIDAY
(who is Friday ? what does he look like? what happens when he comes out of the cave and meets Robinson?, and so on)

​you have 20 minutes to create the 3 groups and to work together, using the book, your notes or the net to prepare your short presentations.
Then each group will have about 5 minutes to give us the presentation.
