Directions for this review

These questions are based on the paper circle and circle review.

I will ask you questions on how you are supposed to find the measure as if you were taking the test. I also will ask you questions that have you calculating. Some of the questions rely on past question answers so I would write down your answers.

Multiple Choice

Question image

If you were given a paper circle or using a circular food, how would you find the center of your circle?

1

Lay two strings across like diameters.

2

Eyeball it.

3

Find the diameter with the ruler.

4

Find the circumference.

4

Fill in the Blank

5

Multiple Choice

After you cut a piece of pie, how would you find the central angle?

1

Measure it.

2

Use my protractor and line up one side with the radius and look to see where the other radius is shown on the protractor.

3

Once I remove the slice of pie, I would measure the angle with my protractor and notice where the two radii intersect the protractor.

4

I would guess.

6

Math Response

The central angle found is 52 degrees, what is the angle in radian form?

7

Draw

Draw where your x and y axis would like on this circle?

8

Math Response

If the center of your circle was (-2, 1), write the equation of your circle with the diameter of 22.86 cm. Round to the nearest tenth.

Reorder

Question image

How do you find the inscribed angle? Put them in order.

Use one of your radii and draw the diameter.

Draw a chord from the diameter drawn down to the other radii point.

Place your protractor on the inscribed angle point and line up the protractor on the diameter.

Measure the acute angle that is formed with the diameter and the chord.
