• Your lecturer will guide you to where you need to go.

• The fire alarm will be tested throughout the year too, follow the same routine each time.

Group Tutor Role

• ​A group tutor is a little like a guidance teacher at school.

• I will be in-charge of this group and all things related to each of you.

• Together we will set goals, identify any needs and have an awareness of the stages of support for our group (pre-entry, induction, during study, exit and progression), providing appropriate guidance and support along with signposting.

• Methods include monitoring absence and other behaviours, as well as maintaining regular communication. Building a positive relationship is an essential element. 

• We will have a set time each week to catch up, discuss any problems, highlight the good things that have happened that week, have a one to one to chat about support you may need with your learning.

• No running around campus, It’s an adult learning environment.

• Any issues, speak to a member of staff!

• Arrive to each class on time. Especially after breaks!!!

• Engage in ALL classes.
