An indirect question is when you talk about a question, not ask it directly.

間接疑問文とは、質問を直接たずねるのではなく、その質問について話すときに使う文のことです。

Direct Question(直接疑問文)

How much money do you have?

Indirect Question(間接疑問文)

I was wondering how much money you have.
