COMPARATIVE (SO SÁNH HƠN)

• For Two-syllable adjectives or more two-syllable adjectives. (Tính từ có 2 vần hoặc trên 2 vần):

=> S + V + more + Adj/Adv + than

Example: Max is more careful than Mary. (Max thì cẩn thận hơn Mary.)

• For One-syllable adjectives. (Tính từ chỉ có 1 vần ):

=> S + V + Adj/Adv + -er + than

Example: Mary is taller than Max. (Mary thì cao hơn Max.)
