Criteria: What an experiment has to have/do in an experiment

Constraints: The rules of the experiment (limitations)

Quantitative/Qualitative- One is numbers (qualitative) and one is a description of what is happening (quantitative)

Claim, evidence, reasoning- How you will make conclusions on experiments, readings etc.

Independent Variable - The one variable that is changed in the experiment  

Dependent Variable – The variable that is measured (the data)

Control group - The variable that is used for comparison

Constant – The variables that stay the same in an experiment

Hypothesis – Tells what data to collect

Experimental group – The group in the experiment that has the independent variable changed
