Sibusiso Kubheka is a famous South African runner. He loves long distances. His latest accomplishment is amazing!Last weekend, Sibusiso ran a very long race. The race was 100 kilometres. That is like running from Johannesburg to Pretoria! It is a very, very long way.

Running 100 kilometres is a big challenge. Most people cannot run this distance. But Sibusiso is a strong athlete. He trains every day. He runs in the morning and in the evening. He eats healthy food and sleeps well.

His goal was to run 100 km in under 6 hours. This is very, very fast.

On the day of the race, the weather was good. Many people came to watch and support the runners. Sibusiso started running. He felt strong and happy. He did not stop.

After 5 hours and 59 minutes, Sibusiso saw the finish line. He ran faster! He crossed the line. He completed the race! His time was 5 hours, 59 minutes, and 20 seconds. He did it! He ran 100 km in under 6 hours.

Sibusiso was very tired but very happy. His family and friends were there. They were very proud of him.

“It was very difficult, but I am happy,” Sibusiso said. “I want to show people that you can do anything if you work hard.”

Sibusiso Kubheka is a true inspiration for South Africa and for all runners.
