• More concise and slightly more formal or neutral.

• Often used in writing and speech to introduce a summary or conclusion.

• Common in professional and academic contexts.

• Slightly more descriptive and often emphasizes the collective or entirety of something.

• A bit more conversational or narrative.

• Focuses on the entirety of a group or process rather than just summarizing.

Example:
"As a whole, I feel this way of working works really well."

Even though I enjoy working alone, I’m always willing to help others and enjoy discussing different cases with my colleagues

As a lawyer, I believe this mindset is quite common in our field, as much of our work is done individually

Every year, we take a trip outside of Helsinki to plan for the upcoming year

​All in all, I find our teamwork both educational and rewarding, and I think the current setup serves us well, even if there are occasional challenges.

We do all the planning together in an open and constructive atmosphere

--> Because we plan together, we are all more committed to the results.

The free time we share during the trip also helps us connect on a more personal level and strengthens our sense of team spirit

​I do think there’s room for improvement in how these discussions are structured. At times, it can feel a bit like being on trial

We sometimes get carried away with the topic, especially when the subject is particularly interesting or controversial, and not everyone gets the opportunity to share their opinions.

Still, we usually manage to reach a mutual understanding—although, in some cases, we’ve even had to take a vote

​"Working together in a nice atmosphere makes us stronger and strongly engaged team and strengthens feeling about being heard."

--> Working together in a relaxed and positive environment brings us closer as a unit. It helps us feel more engaged and valued.

"Teamwork has its place and time, but it should not be the self-interest"

.--> I believe teamwork has its time and place, but it should never be an end in itself
