What is cyberbullying?

Cyberbullying is a serious issue that many people, including you, face in today's digital world.

Cyberbullying happens when someone uses technology, like phones, computers, or social media, to hurt, tease, or embarrass another person over and over again.

Sending hurtful messages in texts, email, and games, spreading rumors, sharing embarrassing photos or videos, or excluding someone from online groups or activities = cyberbullying.

What might start out as an inside joke among a few people can quickly get out of hand, leading to consequences for both the victim and the bullies.

Additionally, the bully may be surprised to find out that they have become one.
