The legend of the crying stone
One day, there lived a widow with a daughter on the island of Kalimantan. Her daughter is famous for her beautiful appearance. However, not with her bad behavior. (0RIENTATION)
The girl was spoiled by her mother. What she wanted must be done. So the mother had to try harder to make her daughter's wishes come true. Even so, the mother still loves her daughter.
One day, the girl wanted a dress bought at the market. When he arrived at the market, the girl did not recognize her mother. The girl called her a servant to many people who asked her. This made the mother sad and disappointed. (COMPLICATION)
When her mother's patience ran out, she prayed to God to punish her daughter. Slowly, her legs began to harden and she couldn't move them. Until her whole body became stone. The girl then regretted it and tried to apologize. (RESOLUTION)
But it was too late. The whole body eventually became stone. The mother really felt very sad seeing her daughter. But she couldn't do anything for God's destiny. Even though she had become a complete stone, one could still see her tears. (RE-ORIENTATION)
