Today, you are going to read a story on Autumn. Do you know another word for Autumn?

​Autumn is one of the four seasons. It comes after summer and before winter. Autumn is also called fall. The days are shorter. There is less sunlight. Farmers harvest their crops at this time. The weather gets cooler in autumn. The leaves on the trees change from green to orange, red, brown, and yellow. At the end of autumn, the leaves fall o the trees. In autumn, many animals prepare for winter. They gather food to store in their nests and dens. Animals grow warmer coats to prepare for the winter’s cold weather. Halloween and Thanksgiving are holidays in autumn.
