A Thesis Statement is the CLAIM of your essay
A good thesis statement gives a preview of what you will talk about in your essay. It's your claim that you try to prove with the body paragraphs in your essay. There are 3 parts to the thesis:
1. The topic (Relationship of People and Nature)
2. Your thoughts about the topic (What is the relationship?)
3. What you plan on presenting (What your 2 body paragraphs are about)
