🔹 1. VERBO “TO BE” NO SIMPLE PAST
✅ Formas Sujeito Verbo “to be” no passado

✳️ Afirmativa
Estrutura: Sujeito + was/were + complemento
🔸 Exemplo: I was at school yesterday. → Eu estava na escola ontem.
They were happy. → Eles estavam felizes.
🚫 Negativa:
Estrutura: Sujeito + was not (wasn’t) / were not (weren’t) + complemento
🔸 Exemplo: She wasn’t at home. → Ela não estava em casa.
We weren’t tired. → Nós não estávamos cansados.
❓ Interrogativa
Estrutura: Was/Were + sujeito + complemento + ? 🔸

Os verbos regulares terminam em –ed no passado.

Estrutura: Sujeito + verbo regular + ed + complemento
🔸 Exemplo:
She worked yesterday. → Ela trabalhou ontem.
Negativa
Estrutura: Sujeito + did not (didn’t) + verbo base + complemento
🔸 Exemplo:
They didn’t play soccer. → Eles não jogaram futebol.
👉 Observe: O verbo volta à forma base (sem “-ed”) depois de didn’t.
Interrogativa
Estrutura: Did + sujeito + verbo base + complemento + ?

Did you study for the test? → Você estudou para a prova?

Os verbos irregulares mudam completamente a forma no passado (não seguem regra).
É preciso memorizar suas formas.

Sujeito + verbo irregular (forma passada) + complemento
🔸 Exemplo:
I went to the beach. → Eu fui à praia.
🚫 Negativa
Sujeito + did not (didn’t) + verbo base + complemento
🔸 Exemplo:
She didn’t go to the party. → Ela não foi à festa.
❓ Interrogativa
Did + sujeito + verbo base + complemento + ?
🔸 Exemplo:
Did he eat pizza? → Ele comeu pizza?
Obs.: Note que, nas formas negativa e interrogativas, o verbo fica na sua forma do presente e o auxiliar "DID" sofre a alteração e fica no PASSADO.
