IF CLAUSE = CONDICIÓN (EN ESTA CLAUSULA EN VERBO DEBE IR EN PRESENTE SIMPLE)

FUTURE CLAUSE = RESULTADO (EN ESTA CLAUSULA EL VERBO DEBE IR EN FUTURO SIMPLE)

RECUERDA TAMBIÉN QUE ESTAS CLAUSULAS PUEDEN INVERTIRSE, NO OLVIDES EL USO DE LA COMA :)

AFFIRMATIVE

• If + subject + presente simple, subject + will + verbo en infinitivo.

• EXAMPLE

• If I go to bed late, I will get up very late.

  (Si me voy a dormir tarde, me levantaré muy tarde)

  
  

NEGATIVE

• If + subject + do/does + not + verbo en infinitivo, subject + will + not + verbo en infinitivo.

• EXAMPLE:

• If I do not go to bed late, I will get up early.

QUESTIONS

• Partícula interrogativa + will + subject + verbo en infinitivo + if + subject + presente simple + ?

• EXAMPLE:

• What will you do if you go to bed late?

  (¿Qué harás si te vas a dormir tarde?)

  
  

• Como podemos ver, en las preguntas siempre iniciará con el "future clause", por lo tanto la coma (,) debe ser omitida.
