Paper Diorama

Layered Relief Art

A 3D paper diorama is a three-dimensional scene created by layering and folding pieces of paper to create depth. It is a craft that can be made from a single sheet of paper or multiple sheets, often using materials like a shoebox, glue, scissors, and markers to build a miniature world or replicate a story.

Layered relief art is a three-dimensional art form where elements are raised from a flat background to create depth and texture. It can involve overlapping layers of materials like paper, wood, or clay, or carving into a surface to form multiple levels. This creates a visual play of light and shadow, giving the flat surface a sense of depth, with techniques like high relief (where figures project significantly) and low relief (bas-relief), where the projection is more subtle.
