The First People of NC:
Name: Paleo Indians
Used Woolly Mammoths for the majority of their needs: meat,skin, bones, and tusks. They would use these to make tools and weapons.
They were nomadic (they move to follow their food source)
Atlatl: a tool for killing large animals
Once they started trading goods and building permanent villages, they did not have to keep following their food source.
The harvested the 3 sisters: Corn, Beans, and Squash
