Cellular Organelles Day 2
Learners can:
identify the cellular organelles ribosome, mitochondrion, cytoskeleton, cilia, flagellum, lysosome
relate the functions of cellular organelles to the function of the cell as a whole
Vocabulary: cilia, cytoskeleton, flagellum, lysosome, mitochondrion

Cellular Oraganelles Day 2 Review Kahoot.
This Kahoot will review the organelles that we discussed yesterday!
3
These are the organelles that we discussed yesterday. Does anybody have any questions on these?
Make sure you take notes on these or know where you have notes saved digitally.
4
Today, we are going to be looking at 6 more organelles. We will be doing breakout rooms!!! Each room will be responsible for 2 organelles.
A team captain from each room will be responsible for sharing their screen in the breakout room and creating a PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation.
The organelles that we will cover today are listed to the right along with which room is responsible for which organelle.
You will have roughly 20 minutes to complete this presentation. You should use the Interactive Cell interactive on page 3 of the Edio lesson to get your information.
5
Your presentation should include 4 slides.
Slide 1 - Title Slide with a title of your presentation, your names, and an image of a cell.
Slide 2 - Your group's 1st organelle with the function of that organelle and a sketch or screenshot of what it looks like.
Slide 3 - Your group's 2nd organelle with the function of that organelle and a sketch or screenshot of what it looks like.
Slide 4 - Conclusion slide and one cool fact about cells.
6
I will put this Wayground on student-paced so that you can go back and review the directions. If you get stuck at any point, let me know, and I will come assist you!
We will be reconvening as a group with about 15 minutes left in class for some presentations. If we don't get to all of them, we will complete the presentations during live classroom tomorrow.
I expect solid participation within your groups as well as good behavior. Have fun with this!!!
Good luck!
