a consonant is directly before -le;
C-le is the final syllable;
the vowel makes a schwa sound; and
the final vowel e is silent.

You have learned that to divide words with consonant -le into syllables, the word is divided before the consonant.
There is an exception to this rule.
If the digraph ck is before the -le, the ck must stay together.

Greek Root
The Greek root path can mean feeling. The root can also mean suffering or disease.
You can add a prefix and a suffix to the root path to make a word with meaning.
For example:
