The STEMLab has a digital checkout system! To borrow something from the classroom, such as headphones, mouses, or chargers, you must check them out with your card.

Replacement cards are 15 Koda Cash. Don't lose or destroy them.

Borrowing Things

I only have one spare Chromebook. I do have the Linux laptop, but do not assume you'll get to use it.

If you forget your Chromebook...

• Yes you were given one. You lost it.

• I have spares!

• You must check out a loaner with your STEM card

If you forget your charger...

No snacks. None. At all. Not even fruit.

I found oranges hidden under the sink, molding and attracting fruit flies.

NO FOOD.

Classroom checkout

• Returning:

  • Check in on the tablet

  • Wrap the cords around the cord keepers

  • Hang them back up

• Failure to do so will mean you don't get to use them!

Headphones and Mouses

If you leave my tech out, everyone loses it.

• Only at the side tables

  • If you're at more than 50% battery, you may NOT charge your Chromebook.

  • Do NOT stretch cords across walkways.

    • Ms. Lewis is clumsy.

Charging your Chromebook

• What you'll get if I catch you doing something you shouldn't.

• You don't get to go anywhere except where I allow.

Whitelist

• The default

• You can go anywhere you want, except where we say no.

Blacklist

Stay on Task... or Else!

Cool. You still don't get to play video games.

• You may:

  • Work on other assignments

  • Read a book

  • Draw

  • Do a Koda Cash task.

"But I'm Done!"

I have yet to see someone use these appropriately.

I will take them.

Bring a better fidget.

• 4-7 School Days Late

  • Max Score is 80%

• Over 7 Days Late

  • Must get approval to turn in
