Year 6 2016 Welcome

In Year 6 we treat each other with:-

• Respect
• Kindness
• Care
• All of the above

When the bell rings I .....

• quickly go to the toilet and sit on the green seats.
• go to the toilet and take my time.
• keep playing
• go to the toilet and stand and play around the green seats. 

When do I answer teachers back??

• When I am right.
• NEVER 
• If the teacher needs to be told.
• Whenever I want.

When can we have fun in Yr 6?

• All the time as long as I am treat everyone with manners and respect. 
• Whenever I want.
• Anytime I want to show off in front of my friends.
• When my friends tell me too.

If someone is being teased  or being treated unkindly I....

• ignore it as it is none of my business.
• I help that person or tell someone who can help them. 
• I join in teasing and being unkind. 
• tell someone and laugh at them behind their backs. 

Yelling, punching, kicking, swearing, pushing, disrespect, arguing and any other bad behaviour..... 

• is allowed. 
• is ok if I say sorry.
• WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IN YR 6 and the consequence of this will be a major issue.
• is ok if someone else starts it.

Campfire is for LISTENING and SHARING..?

• YES
• NOT ALL THE TIME

• Sometimes

Group activities are for 

• distracting the learnng of others.
• chat and play.
• working together.
• letting others do all the work. 

The classroom belongs to 

• everybody and everybody is responsible to keep it tidy.
• the teachers and the teachers are responsible to keep it tidy.
• the teachers and the cleaners are responsible to keep it tidy.
• the school and the cleaners are responsible to keep it tidy.

In a group activity everyone

• can to do what they want.
• has to do their own work without helping each other.
• can talk and chat as much as they like.
• has to achieve a task or understanding of the learning intention.
