An indirect object answers the question

When there is one verb in a sentence, we place the IOP

• At the beginning of the sentence

• At the end of the sentence

• after the verb

• before the verb

Identify the IOP:

Voy a contar un secreto a ti.

• ti

When there are two verbs in a sentence, we place the IOP

• At the beginning of the sentence

• at the end of the sentence

• between the two verbs

• either before verb 1 or attached to verb 2

Identify the IOP:

Ellos dicen la verdad a nosotros.

• ellos

• nosotros

• la verdad

• dicen

Identify the IOP:

Yo doy el regalo a mi hermano.

• hermano

Translate the sentence:

Ella me da el dinero.

• She gave me dinner.
