Peace can be defined as the absence of conflict. It can impact on health outcomes by:

• There is a decreased risk of mortality (HS), serious injury and disability (Phys H&W) related to conflict.

• It allows governments to focus on education, healthcare and infrastructure which promotes optimal health and wellbeing.

• Allows people to do daily activities such as working (purpose in life Sp. H&W), accessing food (Phys. H&W), and socialising (building relationships So. H&W).

• Conflict is good because it increases the co-operation between countries.

Shelter describes a structure that provides protection from the outside environment. This can impact on health outcomes by:

• Decreasing stress and anxiety (Mental H &W) through privacy, safety and security.

• Protection from extreme weather and spread of infectious diseases (Physical health and wellbeing) which will reduce mortality and morbidity rates (HS).

• Providing a sense of belonging (spiritual H & W) if you live in a neighborhood.

• Most shelters don't have toilets.

Education is the process of receiving systematic instruction, especially at a school or university. It can impact on health outcomes by:

• Promoting literacy which will allow people to watch TV shows

• Increases people's ability to earn an income, thus be able to provide shelter, medicine and buy healthy food. This will reduce U/5 mortality rate.

• People will be more able to understand and follow health promotion messages so life expectancy can increase.

• Interactions with other students to develop their ability to read and understand emotions (Em H&W)

Adequate food intake is both an essential requirement for life and a basic human right. It can impact on health outcomes by:

• Provides vital nutrients that will promote physical growth and protect from disease. (physical H&W and decrease morbidity)

• Provides energy for communicating with friends (So. H&W).

• Provides adequate levels of energy that are required for studying at school and at work, in the creation of income (which will be productive for the country too and increase life expectancy).

• It doesn't matter if it is good food or junk food, all food is good for you.

Income is money that is gained through working. It can impact on optimal health and wellbeing by:

• Increasing the ability to afford recreation (builds fitness Phys. H&W).

• Allowing people to afford to buy nutritious food (adequate energy levels Phys. H&W)

• Allows people to afford to spend time with friends developing relationships (So. H&W)

A stable ecosystem occurs when balance is achieved between the environment and the species that live in the environment. It can impact health outcomes by:

• Providing clean water and air, thus reducing YLL and YLD from diseases such as Cholera and Asthma.

• Providing plants and animals for fishing and agriculture industries, that will provide food for people (energy Phys. H&W).

• Providing natural materials for building of shelter which can protect from the elements and thus increase life expectancy.

• Providing synthetic materials for clothes.

Sustainable resources meet the needs of the present without comprimising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Having sustainable resources can:

• Decrease our reliance on fossil fuels for energy production. (Energy that can be used for education, employment, sleep, food production etc)

• Optimise our capacity to generate food using fertile land and sustainable fishing stocks.

• Enable us to have wood for building materials (Shelter- protection- less disease- Phys. H&W)

• Natural oil reserves take 50 years to replenish themselves

Social justice relates to equal rights for all, regardless of personal traits such as gender, income, ethnicity, religion, age or sexual orientation. This can come about through:

• A fair distribution of economic reserves providing income for food and shelter.

• Equal access to essential services such as housing, healthcare and education

• Equal access to food and water

• Unequal access to recreation and leisure activities.

Equity relates to fairness and social justice. It takes unfair circumstances into account. This enables:

• Access to education for all (even those who don't have much income).

• Access to human rights for all.

• Access to resources such as healthcare through schemes like Medicare.

• Access to free BMWs for all
