We’re here on Siargao Island in the Philippines and it’s fantastic. We arrived at about 9 o’clock this morning from Manila. We started our journey yesterday in Dammam and had to change plans a couple of times. It was a very long journey but I slept for a few hours so I’m not tired now. We had breakfast on the plane about 5 a.m.. It was funny because it was the evening in Saudi Arabia. I was very excited so I didn’t eat much. My husband Mohammed finished my food because he’s always hungry.

Abdullah and Reem were at the airport to meet us and they drove us straight to their house. They live very near Cloud 9 surf break so we can see the famous tower from their home. It’s amazing. There are a lot of boats on the water, too. It’s summer here and it’s very hot - over 30 degrees!

We’re here for two weeks so we’re going to do lots of interesting things. I love the water so we’re going to go swimming and I want to try surfing at Cloud 9! Our friends love the water too so they’re going to take us to visit different beaches on other islands.

Abdullah loves sailing so tomorrow we’re going to sail to Lajanosa Island and see some of the best scenery around. I’ve got my drone camera with me so I’m going to take photographs from the sky and put them on my blog so you can all see them.
