On The Job

Your supervisor asks you to complete a task that you think is very hard. What should you do?

• Just not do it.

• Talk about it with your supervisor and come up with a solution.

• Yell at your supervisor for giving you such a hard task.

• Don't tell your supervisor you think it's difficult and try to do it on your own anyways.

You wake up one morning and feel very sick, but you're supposed to work that day. What should you do?

• Call your supervisor and let them know you're not feeling well and won't be at work.

• Still go to work anyways.

You want to take a day off from work to attend a family party. What should you do?

• Just miss the family party. You HAVE to go to work!

• Just don't show up to work that day.

• Tell your supervisor you would like the day off for a family event.

• Go to work for a little bit and then leave early.

You make a mistake at work. What should you do?

• Pretend it didn't happen.

• Start crying.

• Get really down on yourself and stop doing your job.

• Let your supervisor know about the mistake and talk with them about how you can avoid it next time.

You're trying to get your work done but one of your co-workers keeps trying to talk to you and distract you. What should you do?

• Politely tell your co-worker that you're trying to work and that you'll talk to them later.

• Yell at them and tell them that they're annoying you and to stop talking.

• Just keep talking to them anyways, even though you are distracted.

• Go tell your supervisor on them.

You are at work and you start to feel sick. What should you do?

• Nothing-just stay at work until it's time to leave.

• Complain to all your co-workers and supervisor all day about how sick you are.

You are running late to work. What should you do?

• Just turn around and go back home.

• Start screaming and freaking out because you are going to be late.

• Call you supervisor and let them know you are running late.

• Still go to work, but just show up late and not tell anyone.

An angry customer starts yelling at you about something that is not your fault. What should you do?

• Just sit there and say nothing and let the customer yell at you.

• Yell back at the customer and get into a fight with them.

• Apologize to the customer and offer to call your supervisor over to speak with them.

• Just ignore the customer and walk away.

Your supervisor gives you a task to do that you don't know how to do. What should you do?

• Try to figure out how to do it on your own.

• Talk to your supervisor and tell them you don't know how to do it and need some help.

• Just don't do it.

• Ask a co-worker to help you.

You hurt yourself at work. What should you do?

• Let a supervisor know you got hurt and get help.

• Just do nothing-the pain will go away eventually.

• Start screaming and yelling.

• Keep working while injured.
