What does posture mean?

• It's a way of standing or sitting correctly to optimize body alignment.

• It's how I sit in front of the TV.

• It's a way of behaving in choir.

If you're standing with correct posture, where should your feet be?

• close together

• shoulder width apart

• wider than my shoulders

If you're standing with good posture, where should your hips be?

• My hips are aligned with my shoulders and feet.

• My hips are leaning to one side.

• My hips are how I normally stand.

What does it mean to have your head in a neutral position?

• My head is angled down so the sound bounces off of the floor.

• My head is angled up so the sound goes up.

• My head is not tilted up or down.

Where should your hands and arms be when you sing?

• My hands and arms are behind my back.

• My hands are in my pockets.

• My hands and arms are at my sides.

Where is low Do is located when you're singing with hand signs?

• at belly button
