• You can check out a book if you return the one that is not overdue.

• You cannot check out any books until the overdue book is returned.

What happens if you lose a library book?

• Mrs. Zehr will ask you to name your first born child after her.

• You have to find, pay for, or work off the cost of the book before you can check out again.

• You can never check out books again.

What voice level do we use in the computer lab?

• Level 4--Outside Voice

• Level X--Extra quiet

• Level 0/1--Silence / Whisper

What kind of books can you check out?

• Whatever you want.

• One choice book and one color book.

• Only nonfiction.

Why do we use shelf markers in the library?

• So that we know exactly where to put a library book if we decide we don't want it.

• Because Mrs. Zehr likes to make us follow weird rules.

• So Mrs. Zehr knows how many people are in the stacks at a time.

How long can I keep a library book until it is due?

• One week only.

• One week or more IF I renew the book.

• Three weeks at a time.

What do I do with a book I want to return?

• You can bring it to the library.

• You should put it in your classroom book truck on the morning of your library day.

• You can teleport it with your mind.
