Consider this scenario. You are sick on Monday. On Tuesday, you have a music lesson during French class, so you must miss class once again. Quel désastre! What should you do?

• On Tuesday,after your music lesson, you should go to your classroom, find “Absent(e)?” folder labeled with your class level and pick up handouts so that you’re ready for Wednesday. Also, check Google Classroom for any homework assignments/warm-ups.

• On Wednesday, as the bell rings at the beginning of class, you should ask Mme Hollis for handouts. Set up a time to meet with her during Extra Help to go over any missed work.

• You can go to Google Classroom after school on Wednesday and print out any important information so that you don’t fall behind.

You’re late to French class because you had to use the bathroom after your history test. When you enter C-105, everyone is already done with their warm-up, so you quickly do it. Zut, you rush and forget to turn in your homework. The next day, you remember. What should you do?

• Quel dommage (What a pity)! The assignment is late so you will receive less points for it. However, you should put it in the “Pour Mme Hollis” folder ASAP.

• S’il vous plaît!? You should talk to Mme Hollis in person and ask her politely if you can turn in the missed assignment now. Mme Hollis will realize that you simply forgot to do it earlier. Elle est sympathique!

• Zut! Oh well, one missed assignment won’t hurt your grade, right?

It’s Sunday night. You have a French quiz coming up on Thursday, and you feel a bit worried about it. You don’t fully understand the work that you covered last week and what material will appear on the quiz. Also, the last homework assignment was exceptionally hard! What should you do?

• Form a study group. Ask a few friends if they want to study together after school in the library. They'll help you with the material for sure.

• See Mme Hollis during her Extra Help on Wednesday.

• Email Mme Hollis ASAP (tonight!) to see if she can meet you either on Monday or Tuesday so that you have more time to study before Thursday’s test. If she doesn't respond right away, go to her classroom in the morning to speak in person.

• It’s just one, small quiz...If you don’t do well on it, you can always see Mme Hollis during Extra Help. You have a biology chapter to read tonight anyway.

• Go to Google Classroom and sign up for a time slot to take the quiz tomorrow or on Monday. Why? Well, by next Wednesday, the grade will become a 0 so you must schedule the makeup session before then.

• Talk to Mme Hollis today in class. Maybe you can take it after school?

You misplaced a handout on the past tense but you need it to review for your midterm. You want a paper copy to highlight and annotate. What should you do?

• Go to Google Classroom and print out a new copy, in the library or at home if you have a printer.

• Check in the Des Copies Supplémentaires folder. Maybe there are still some extra copies there?

• Ask Mme Hollis for another copy.
