What does Malware mean?

What might Malware do ?

• Gather personal data and modify files

• Increase security

How can we get Malware? (2 choices)

• Accidently download it

• Be tricked in to downloading it as something else

What is a logic bomb ?

• Code that runs on a computer at a certain date or time to cause trouble

• A really hard exam question in a test

• An explosion on a network

Why do people make Logic Bombs ?

• As a way to cause trouble on computers to get revenge because they know how without being there.

• To do good for a company they once worked for.

• To blow up their computer.

What is ransomware?

• Ransomware illegally makes people pay in order to get control of their computer back.

• Ransomware pays you to use your computer.

• Ransomware is not a problem on a computer.

What does a computer virus do?

• Spreads to computers to gather private information or cause a nuisance.
