The purpose of text features is to:

A summary should contain:

• important details

• text evidence

• opinions about the topic

These words must NEVER go in a summary or a RACE or an OREO paragraph: check ALL that apply

When writing a paragraph, you must indent

• 1 cm on the top line only

• 1 cm on every line

The length of a summary or OREO paragraph should be:

• 5-7 sentences

• 3-5 sentences

• half a page

• one page

This is when characters are talking to each other:

• conversation

• dialogue

• monologue

• soliloquy

This is not a character in a play, but a speaker who tells important information:

• narrator

• main character

• actor

• performer

This shows important information about where the actors stand, move, etc.

• stage directions

• cast of characters

• script

• outline

This is the crisis point of a story:

• exposition

• climax

• resolution

• falling action
