What is Google Classroom?

• It is a Digital organizer where teachers can keep class materials and share them with students

• It's a platform that ties together Google's G Suite tools for teachers and students

Why does Merdinian want to implement Ed Tech?

• Prepare students for the real world. Teaching students how to use technology to learn, research, collaborate, and solve problems from an early age will better prepare them for their future.

• Create more engaged and successful teachers. Using technologies like virtual lesson plans and internet resources can help free up time — both in developing and delivering the curriculum.

• Encourages individual learning and growth. Technology can provide accommodations for struggling students, and virtual lesson plans provide individualized instruction for all.

• Meet the needs and demands of today’s parents and students. Our “stakeholders” expect that technology is a core focus of modern education.
