• While visiting her grandpa in Michigan, Mary Ellen didn't want to read her book instead she wanted to go outside and play. Her grandpa took her on an adventure to find a bee tree and along the way the two picked up several people. They found the bee tree together, gathered honey and then came back to grandpa's house for a party.

• While visiting her grandma and grandpa, Mary Ellen told her grandpa that she wanted to go on an adventure. Grandpa took her on an adventure in search of honey from a bee tree. When finding the bee tree, the took honey back to grandma so they could have honey and crackers.

• While visiting her grandpa's house in Michigan, Mary Ellen was getting bored while reading her book. Her Grandpa took her on an adventure and while on that adventure Mary Ellen learned a valuable lesson that involved reading.
