Pre & Post Flight Briefings

Duties before a pre-flight briefing include

• Answering SEP questions

• Checking uniform

• Obtaining Float

• Signing in to confirm you are fit to fly

It is a legal requirement all cabin crew

• Have appropriate uniform and grooming standards

• Bring their float

• Answer SEP questions in order to operate a flight

• State their flight experience

Before the pre-flight briefing Cabin Crew are expected to have read any updated

• Aviation Medicine Notices

• Safety Notices

• Security Notices

A pre-flight briefing includes

• Aircraft information

• Appearance checks

• SEP and Aviation Medicine Questions

• Confirming operating and working positions

Post flight briefings are completed by

• Low cost airlines

• Scheduled airlines

• Charter airlines

Pre-flight briefings commence

• 1.5 hours before departure

• 2 hours before departure

• 30 minutes before departure

• 1 hour before departure
