• Means that there is no longer any need to memorize financial ratio formula as it is not relevant anymore

• Students must only use specified skills which are required for to gain professional marks

• When answering SBL questions, using other professional skills than specified can help candidates gain marks

• No marks will be awarded for using different professional skills than the required ones

• The PSM comes into five different categories such as commercial acumen, communication, analysis, scepticism & evaluation

• the ability to demonstrate why an information is important by explaining the significance of the information being discussed

• any quotes being used within the scenario must be identified clearly and emphasized within the body of your answers

• the fastest way to get marks is by copying the section of the passage to demonstrate proper identification of points

• points found from the scenario does not need to be elaborated anymore as it will not create any value

Avoid long paragraphs, refer to situations like... (More than ONE correct answers)

• Any paragraph having more than four good sentences can be considered as too long, even if it has good developed points.

• Writing in long paragraphs would likely improve your chance of scoring in the exam. The longer you write the cleverer you would look like to the recipient.

• Recipients needs to see each points clearly. Inclusion of many points into a paragraph will not help them to do so.

• A good sentence is written using at least 25 words within them. A proper paragraph would need to have 4 properly developed sentences.

• Citing models within your answers will help you gain marks in the exam.

• It is better to organize your answers based on the question requirements or the content of the exhibits.

• Using models will make it easier for candidates to get marks and to demonstrate their understanding of the subject matter.

• In SBL exam, it is best to rely more on models as it will help students develop their answers around those models.

• Stating technical knowledge by itself without relating to the case study will likely score high marks

• Candidates who just presented a detailed theoretical explanation of big data scored high marks even without relating to its opportunities

• Candidates who wrote what a risk committee did scored no marks unless they showed it was an advantage of having a separate risk committee

• Technical knowledge marks would take up yo 80% of the total marks in SBL exam
