5th Grade rules and routines

When starting the class day I should...

• Get every single thing I NEED from my backpack

• Move my nametage

• Come inside and get my tablet

• Start Morning Work quickly

• Chat with my friends

Where do I turn in papers?

• Miss Hansberger wants you to hand it to her in the hallway. She LOVES that.

• Leave it in my backpack forever.

• The correctly labeled tray. Like math goes into the math tray.

• The floor looks like a good place.

I totally know the answer to the question. I should..

• Scream it across the room for all to hear.

• Raise my hand then shout it out!

• Raise my hand, wait to be called on, then in a respectful voice share it.

• Ha I'm not sharing this knowledge with any one!

My desk should be...

• Clean

• Organized and free of clutter

• A place where i stuff everything

• I should never clean it out.

I need to go to the restroom I should...

• Scream at Miss Hansbeger because I have to go.

• Give the restroom signal and wait until Miss Hansberger nods at me.

• Wait until recess or lunch when possible

• Go before or after school when possible.

I had a small problem at recess/lunch. I should

• Tell a proctor

• Write it on a T-mail

• Try to handle it myself

• If it can be solved quickly ask to speak to Miss Hansberger

Where do I turn late work in? and with what attached?

• Anywhere I want with noting on it

• Subject tray with late slip

• Late tray with nothing on it

• Late tray with late slip

To redo work I.....

• Show new work next to old, attach redo slip, & put in the REDO tray.

• Erase all work, redo slip attached, put in redo tray

• Attach redo slip and turn in

• Miss Hansberger doesn't allow redos

I turn in my absent work?

• With a slip attached

• As quickly as possible

• To the make up tray

• Never I'm excused!
