The U in UNRAAVEL stands for:

• Underline the whole passage.

Why do we underline the title when reading a passage?

• It helps me know what the passage is about.

• It helps me know what the questions are going to be.

• It helps me know what the supporting details are.

• It helps me know who the author is.

• Now reread the passage.

• Now answer the questions.

• Now predict the passage.

• Now look at the pictures.
