מַחְרוֹזוֹת שֶׁל דָּגִים

לֶהֱוֵי קֶשֶׁר סִימָן

בְּקִטְרָא דְצַיָידָא

• with a fixed number of fish

• With an unusual knot

• with a fisherman’s knot

דְכּוּלֵי עָלְמָא הָכִי מְקַטְרִי

• They asked of ר"ש:

• Let the knot be a סימן.

• that the whole world ties like this

וְלֶהֱוֵי מִנְיָן סִימָן

• The amount, is a סימן

• And let the number be a סימן.

בּמִנְיָנָא דִשְׁוֵין
