When the teacher or my peers are sharing I should

When class begins, I should be

• Just waking up

• Getting ready

• On time and ready to learn

When I join Zoom I should

• begin socializing

• Be sure my mic is muted

• chat with my friends

• leave the room

If I have a question during a lesson and mics are muted, I should

• Just start talking

• Call a friend

• Press the 'raise hand' signal

When I join the class I should

• Be in a quiet location, be prepared to learn, and have materials ready

• Have the television on

• Have toys around me to distract me

• Have loud music playing in the background

In order to be a positive member of my virtual classroom I will

• Be unkind

• Be respectful of others

• Talk about others behind their backs

If I need to step away from a synchronous Zoom meeting I will

• Press the button option to let my teacher know I need to step away and turn it off when I return

• Unmute myself and tell everyone I will be right back

• Just leave and come back when I feel like it

When I am in a breakout room I will

• Goof around

• Stay focused on task

• Walk away and get a snack

• Stay quiet and avoid interacting with my peers

I will remember Netiquette and that

• None of the things I say, do, or write online are permanent

• It doesn't matter how I act because we are not at school

• It doesn't matter if I am rude

• Everything said, done, and written online may be permanent so I will be responsible, respectful, and kind
