What is the purpose of government?

• Make sure that everyone owns a home

• To keep people and their things safe and help people work together

• To find new judges to serve in courts

Why are laws created?

• So citizens will spend money

• To make sure that citizens volunteer

• To help solve problems in the community

Why do we have rules?

• So people can break them

• To keep citizens safe

• To make sure that people have a job
