What are parallel circuits?

• is a circuit in which resistors are arranged in a chain, so the current has only one path to take.

• has two or more paths for a current to flow through, the voltage across each compartment is the same throughout the circuit. The sum of all the currents through the paths is the same as the total current that flows through the source.

• is a closed loop that electrons can travel in. A source of electricity, such as a battery, provides electrical energy in the circuit.

• stable subatomic particle with a charge of negative electricity, found in all atoms and acting as the primary carrier of electricity in solids.
