It was raining outside so Jack couldn't go out to play. He really waned to ride his new skateboard around the block to his friend Mike's house. He sat staring out the window waiting for the rain to stop

John ran into his house and knocked down his other's favorite glass vase. He quickly cleaned it up and put a different vase in its place. When his mother came home and asked what happened to her glass vase, he simply replied, "I don't know."

The students in Ms. Brown's class were working together on a project. Each child had a different job for the subject, but Missy wanted to do everything. She told Jack how to glue the clouds in the sky. It was Anna's job to cut out the clouds, but Missy cut them out for her. She also told Mike what to write on the paper.

Andrea was learning about zoo animals at school. She worked really hard on drawing an elephant for the class book. Her teacher saw her drawing and told her it looked just like the real elephant from the zoo. Andrea's face lit up and a giant smile spread across her face.

Sue was watching a movie with her big sister. There was one part where a large hairy creature ate a whole building. The creature was green, had a long spiky tail covered in scales, and looked very real to Sue. Sue grabbed a blanket and hid underneath it. She didn't grabbed come out until the movie was over.

Michael never wants to get off of the couch. He always asks his sister to get him water and snacks. His little brother changes the channel for him. When the phone rings, he yells for someone else to answer it. At dinner time he even asks, "Can someone bring my plate to me?"
