Adverbs could be words that don't have endings that change, so you have to memorize them. That's why it's so important to know what adverbs DO in a sentence. Adverbs are words that answer how, when, or ..... the verb is happening. (Even if the verb is a "being" verb!)

Adjectives are different than adverbs because they will always be matching a noun in a sentence and adverbs don't have to match anything. The endings of adjectives and nouns might not be the same, but you can look for endings that are the same
