What is Faith?

• Faith is the substance or assurance of things we hope for, but have not yet received, and our evidence of that which is not seen.

• Faith is believing in things you can't see.

• Faith is believing in the Bible.

• Faith is believing in your family.

What is "living faith"?

• When we convert others towards Jesus.

• When are alive and believe in God.

• The act of service, obedience, and trust in God represented in the things you do.

• When we represent God in everything we do.

Why did Peter begin to sink?

• He became to heavy for the water to support.

• He was so busy thinking of other thinks, that he lost focus of Jesus.

• He began to doubt Jesus, to see if He truly was the Messiah.

• He wanted Jesus to save him so he could see if he truly was the Messiah.

Why was Moalign sent to prison?

• He refused to proclaim the slogan or attend the political meetings.

• He sold his soul to another idol.

• He committed a robbery.

• He cursed the other peoples' God.

What does the mission story teach us about prayer?

• When we pray to God, we must be intolerant of any waiting.

• When we pray to God, we must remember to be persitent in what we want.

• When we pray to God, we must ask him to bless our family members.

• When we pray to God, we must be patient, and have faith he will watch over us.
